Looking around the stadium on ESPN+ on the few shots of the stadium, I cannot imagine how SFA thinks it might go division FBS. This is homecoming for them.

Well, it looked like ACU was trying to make it a one-score game when Peyton was intercepted. I am following on Live Stats, but there must have been a flicker of hope when we were driving pretty well before that last INT. Yes, he tried to get everything all in one play. Double coverage. He had to have other options. |

I am done watching this game. I knew we would probably lose, but just the shear lack of growth and the absolute backsliding in football IQ is mind boggling.....

I can’t say I’m surprised at this outcome unfortunately. I love ACU but we are a bad football team. Oh well. A little over a week until basketball season.
I’m curious what others think. Will AD be here next year? I don’t see a way he sticks here at all after this season.

Now I am worried about Tarleton. They scored 27 points against Sam Houston and showed some real schemes and play calling. They gave up 45 points but SHSU is surely able to score that on just about anyone in the WAC.

People who saw us against lessor teams and a W against Tarleton aren't giving them enough credit. Can we beat Tarleton? Possibly yes, but I still don't see it as a likely outcome, especially with Peyton at the helm and our current lack of coaching adjustment capacity. |
