Interesting. 247 sports lists him at 6'1" 293 and a Texas Tech commit. 2014 graduate.

High school teammates with Sealey and Sadler.
Looks like he didn't qualify. Went D2 then went to Butler.

Hello from London. Good question, Bogey. He played spring ball at Butler, so apprently wasn't scheduled to graduate this year. Let's hope he is eligible and can contribute right away. Off to the airport for our return flight this morning.

I think Thomas was a qualifier. He was listed at 6'2" out of high school, 6'1" at Butler and 247 and now 6'0". I think he committed to TTU and then was dropped and had no place to go. He "reopened" his recruiting in Nov and by then it was too late. So one year at Butler as a freshman and now here. If I'm reading all this right he is immediately eligible and has 3 years. 247 3-star with an .8383 composite out of high school. Looks like a player to me.
Lots of college ballers come from Lawton. I like the connection.

He was going to OSU as a preferred Walk-on. He's a baller, He was an amazing RB as a Sophomore and Jr. He will wreck havoc if he stays focused, he was a true Big 12 talent.

Thanks for the film Boomer. I'm convinced--put him at FB and let him rumble or lead block for DeAndre.

Do you know anything about what happened since high school boomer? Had offers from Tech and K-State according to websites. I found a roster image of him at Northeastern Oklahoma and then obviously has been at Butler.

Just speculating but this seems to be a case of a kid getting offered, committing, then the offer is withdrawn when somebody they like better comes along. He then has to scramble around trying to find a place to play. BoomerJ will likely know more.
