The more I see of Reynel Previlon, the more excited I am about him. He was apparently offered by a lot of FBS schools, but was a late qualifier and the other schools had filled up. I am thinking he will get a lot of playing time starting just 5 days from now. I still have a feeling that there are still a few surprises about to be sprung on us - it appears that the ACU coaches are still out there trying to fill holes on the roster right up to reporting day. It would be great to have a difference maker coming in right away. I am getting more and more excited about this year, but I am really starting to get excited about how good this team could be in 2017, when we are eligible for postseason participation.

One thing that is totally different from years past is that the HS recruits are tweeting and talking to each other as are several of the transfers. Reading between the lines, of course, but these new guys look like they are bringing a lot of new excitement to the team.

Not sure about any of Reynel's recruitment but just from a quick google search it appears that he was committed to New Mexico last December.

And that he then signed with Trinity Valley JUCO.
I'm assuming JUCO letters of intent non-binding?

JC letters are through the NJCAA and not through the national letter organization and are binding only to other JC's. The same is true of NAIA letters. Many athletes who are not qualified will sign JC letters to hedge their bets.
